Took walk around our side of town. Folks went down to cemetery to fix graves. Met us at train in afternoon. Bill home about 10:15.

Bill played ball at Prospect Park. Mama cut out my rose blouse & white dress. To bed at 10 o’clock. Bill came home on 9:44.

Bill & I went to see Thundering Herd at movies in Caldwell.

May 1st crossed out: Went to Suffern & met Uncle Rene & Aunt Aggie. George drove as far as Suffern in his car, then went in Uncle Rene’s car with John. Started for Bean Mt. pulled in for passing car on bridge. Went back to Tuxedo and then to Greenwood Lake. Home about 9:45.

Boys worked on tennis court. Gave them supper. See note crossed out for April 30th. 

April 30th crossed out: Boys worked on tennis court. Gave them supper – beans – potato salad – sandwiches – also pickles – ice cream cake – coffee. We stayed home at night.

Bill stayed home to mow lawn. I took bath & went to bed. He came down while I was taking bath, but I did not let him in. Folks went to Suffern.
