Willa, Miss O’Brien and I went to Miss Pusch’s for a party given by Teressa. Decorated in afternoon & wore ashes of roses dress.

Another Agnes Post
Man, that Agnes Hamilton is sure becoming a hot topic here on the blog. Unfortunately for me the latest was unfolding in the middle of my road trip to Minnesota and then the Hurricane known as Sandy. Now that the dust has settled and the laundry is kinda caught up, I can really sink my teeth into this new Agnes development and it’s a doozy.
I was probably wrong in this post I made back in August. While on the road to Minnesota, I received notification of new comments on my blog. So naturally, I read them right away. Then I panicked, because I had no way of digging in right away. Note to self, just leave email alone until you get home next time.

Halloween. About 25 kids in. Took ride to Montclair to see sights. Not many out.

Halloween Social at church, gave them hot dogs, doughnuts, spice cakes, punch. About 35 there. Cost about $9 for everything.

Went up to see if everything was all right at church. Folks took ride. Arty Miller came around as I was picking up & took me home.

Stayed home from work. Did not feel very extra. Decorated church for Halloween Social at church. Walter Wilkes brought me home with Bill Moore & Raymond Miller.

Went to bed early. Felt very sick coming home on train.

Uncle Rene & Aunt Aggie, Mr. Wambough, John, Marguerite, Papa, Mama, George, Florence & myself left at 12:00 for Lakehurst. Reached there about 5 o’clock. Terrible riot. Only stayed about half hour. Reach home at 10:30. Bough steam clams & steamed them & had regular supper. Folks left for Suffern at 11:45.
