Got up at 6 o’clock and went up to church at 6:30 to get breakfast ready. Mildred helped in morning. Mr. Riley lead about 28 out. Had grapefruit cereal, rolls, doughnuts & coffee. Mama, Papa & I went into New York on 12:03 train from Caldwell. Had butter cakes and coffee at Childs then went to see Helen of Troy, NY. Very good. Went out to Newark afterwards and had turkey dinner at Di Janne’s Home about 8:30. Geo slept till about 11:45.

Went up to church to get ready for Sunrise Service. Ros – Ruth & Esther Jacksill helped. Union meeting upstate. Beulah sick with tonsilitis.

Worked late up to the store getting turkeys ready. Got home about ten. I went to bed about 9:20. George brought ice cream home with him. Brought it up to me in bed.

Folks came out from Suffern. Marguerite asked to come out to see Lulu. Went to Minstrel by Catholic Church.

Mildred & I went over to see Beulah who was sick with tonsillitis. I was over to Mildred’s for supper. We went to church. Folks went to Roseland to see Williams plumber about 4:30.

Met Mama in Newark and bought winter coat. Went to Movies at night with her & saw Penrod & Sam.

Poured like mad from noon on. Willa, Miss Connolly, Miss Pusch & myself went to Chinese Lee’s for Chicken Chow Mein. Willa, Miss Connolly & Miss Pusch all went to Greenwich Village given by Athletic Association. Poured all night. Suppose to be an E. League business meeting but did not have it.
