Aunt Grace died twenty five minutes to six AM. Sent for Ralph at 6 o’clock. We took ride to Suffern to make arrangements with Aunt Aggie. We are to meet them in Paterson at 9:15 in the morning. Real cold for this time of year.

Supper served by Mrs. Cair, Mrs. Rilley & Mrs. Legg. Mr Armstrong in charge of Teachers Training. Went home after Teachers Training. Aunt Grace very low. Ma & Pa got home from Roseland about 9:30. Rained about 10 o’clock & then on.

Surprise on George. Mildred, Bessie Clarkson, June & Dorothy Mueser, Ruth Glazier, Adeline Schroeder, Florence White, Walter Cook, Roswell W, Ernest Smith, Ray V Dyke there. Bill Atkinson, Brad, Dwight or Kirk Bruins did not come. Rained at almost 10:30. Had a dandy time so they all said. Left about 12:45. Gave Geo $10 for birthday. Pa & Ma gave him tires. Grandma – handkerchiefs & socks.

Beautiful Day. Took ride with Ma & Pa down to Newark to get tires for Geo’s birthday. Geo met me at station with his Hup. First Day out. Went over to Roseland to see Aunt Grace after we came back from Newark.

Beautiful Day. Went to all services. In the afternoon we took ride down to Seidler’s Beach & back. Folks went to Suffern at night. Aunt Aggie had been to Roseland all day. She tried to get us, but we were not home. John Howard walked over in afternoon but nobody home. Folks met Aunt Aggie at train in Suffern. Dr told Aunt Belle there was no hope for Aunt Grace. I had run in with Mrs. Vogel.

Beautiful Day. Wilhelmina VD, Lucille, Hazel & myself to hike in knickers to Singac. Had loads of fun. Got home about 10 after 6 and then we went down to Lowe’s. Hazel & I came home on trolley. Lucille & Willa met two fellow friends of Lucille’s & came home in flivver.

High school chorus & orchestra at church to celebrate music week. I sat with Mrs Clarkson. Good crowd out.

Started rehearsing for our play. After rehearsal, went upstairs to choir rehearsal. Long talk about the choir. E went to Orange after rehearsal of play to his Grandmother’s lodge. I walked up with Dora & Ruth & mailed invitations to George’s party.

No supper at church. Teachers Training class at 7:45. Went out back way with Roswell & Ernest at end of class. E said he was going home & go to bed.

Beautiful Day. Entertainment for paretns of S.S. children in S.S. Room. Ma & Pa went. I had to take sandwiches, about 40 there. Mildred, Ruth G, Esther Fackrell & myself only young girls there. Roswell & Ernest there. I washed dishes & Mildred, Esther & Ruth dried. Ernest gathered them up for me. Ernest came home with me. Beautiful moonlight night. Stayed out on the porch. Ernest left about 12:35.
