Miss Sweeney, Miss Westerman, Miss Pusch, Miss Kaufman, Miss O’Brien, Miss Steinhoff, and myself had lunch at Station Restaurant on 44th St and then went to see Poppy. Was suppose to go to Fortune Tellers after but we landed up at Lennox Ave in colored station. Went over to Mildred’s & played cards.

Made arrangements in office with Jennie Sweeney, Anna Pusch, Florence Gerold, Amelia Westerman, Evelyn Kaufman, Willa Steinhoff, Marie O’Brien, Lee Arnold, to meet at the Penn Station in Ladies Waiting Room on May 4, 1929 (first Sat of May) at 2 o’clock. We are waiting Mr. Tillston’s return from Canada. Told we were to move down with Mr. Fletcher.

Every weekday for the past year, I’ve woken up, cooked Grandpa breakfast, and we’ve watched the news or Today Show together. This morning I’m not doing that. It’s hitting me harder then I thought it would but I have to remember Grandpa’s favorite thing to say when he was having a hard time.
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Genealogy Binder: Update
Back in March, I posted about my new Genealogy Binder. It’s been a lot of fun deciding what to put in the binder and what needed a form to keep track of the information. I’m still going to get some dividers to separate sections of the binder into what I feel I need: Website Lists, Research Tools, Records Information, and Printed Reports. I haven’t fully decided the sections yet, but those are the four I’m thinking about currently.
