M.E.W.’s gave party to Alethea’s and those who helped with banquet. Wented to hold it in woods by Smith’s but it rained. Held in church instead. Had dandy time. George in charge. Pa came up after he came back from farm.

Epworth League trip up the Hudson. Had Mildred & Ruth in office with me. Willa, Mildred, Ruth & I went together. Willa out over Sunday – about 25 went. Got home at 1 o’clock. Boat landed at 10:15. Little cloudy in morning but cleared in afternoon. Hannah Paddoch & Alfred Speer both married. Helen Tice & Adeline Schroeder announced their engagements.

Beautiful Day. Mr. Richardson died about 3 o’clock in the afternoon at Long Island College Hospital. Willa & I went down to Hearn’s at noon time. I got white linen for dress. Tried to make it myself but made it too small. Alumni, Ruth G. took Ernest. Mildred & Eleanor Terhune went together.
