Beautiful Day. Mr. Richardson died about 3 o’clock in the afternoon at Long Island College Hospital. Willa & I went down to Hearn’s at noon time. I got white linen for dress. Tried to make it myself but made it too small. Alumni, Ruth G. took Ernest. Mildred & Eleanor Terhune went together.

Diary of Llewellyn: June 21, 1923

Clear & hot. Very hot in New York. A slight breeze at home. Went to Graduation with Ruth G., Roswell W. & Miller boys. Adeline Schroeder graduated. Cool breeze came up during night. Adeline & Ray V.D. engaged.

Diary of Llewellyn: June 20, 1923

Clear & hot. About 104 in front of store. Average temp 95. Ma & I took ride for about 1 hr over through Livingston & Northfield. Pa had to go to farm. Very hot. Could not sleep. Pa went to Market at 1:30.

We got new Mail boy. William Bryson. Beautiful Day. Got as the dickens. Sat around home & sewed. Pa brought ice cream home when he came back from farm. Went to bed about 10 o’clock.

Diary of Llewellyn: June 18, 1923

Beautiful Day. Went home & sewed on my green dress. Went to bed about 11 o’clock. Pa had to go down to farm. Geo bought a “second” tire for his car. Victor name of it. Ma made little dresses for Marguerite.

Diary of Llewellyn: June 17, 1923

Beautiful Day. Went to Sunday School. Bacaloriet sermon at Pres. Church. Mr. Armstrong preached. No church in ours. Came home after Sunday School. We went to Suffern in afternoon – home a few minutes after 6. Sat on porch till about 9 o’clock then went to bed.

Beautiful Day. Willa very sick in office. Went to Dentist in afternoon. Could not do anything because I did not have separation in tooth. Cut out green crepe dress at night.

Field Day. Willia, La Moss, & I went shopping. Cloudy – Very tired when we got home. I bought white hat. Willa & I wanted to get white shoes & material for dress but went home without them. I cleaned out my cedar chest & got things together for vacation

Beautiful Day. Miss Westerman off all day. Miss Sweeney off at noon to attend graduation from Fordham of Frank. Banquet at League. Red had to treat Blues. Mr. Wright & Mr. Armstrong guests. Had Blue & White orchestra. Went down to Mildred’s for a little while after banquet.
