George had committee meeting at house for Halloween social. Buelah, Garrison, Roswell, Clifford Smith & Geo. Rained all morning like mad. Cleared about 2:30. Agnes Mahon & I got ride to Montclair in morning.

Uncle Rene, Marguerite, Aunt Aggie, Pa, Ma, Geo and I went for ride up to Morristown, Bernardville, Whitehouse, Hacketstown, and back. Pa & Geo stopped in at hospital to see Earl Roydhouse.

Beautiful Day. Ma & I went to movies at night, saw Betty Compson in Rustle of Silk. Earl Roydhouse hurt. Geo went to party at Florence White’s given by S.S. class.

Poured like mad. Reception at church but none of us went. All in bed early. Geo went to bed very early. Pa listened to fight at Madison Square Garden, so did Geo in bed.

Group rally supposed to be held in Hemlochs but held at church instead. About 55 present. Had marshmallow apples on stick, hot dogs. Arty Miller walked home with me.

Mildred and I went to movies, saw Thomas Meeghan in the Ne’er Do Well. Went to cabinet meeting at church after and then decorated church for get together social on Friday night of all church members. Decorated in Orange & Black.
