Went to Bloomfield to ball game & from there to Suffern. Geo & Cliff Young went to Delaware Water Gap. Marguerite had chicken pox.

Ma & I went to Newark in afternoon. I got new hat & she got hat & shoes. I did not have to work. Ma & I went to carnival at night. Pa came over after store closed.

I went down to Sue’s and met Helen Steinhoff. She & I went to carnival. Met Willa & La Moss there. Won suitcase doll & kettle of groceries. Ma & Pa also went to carnival.

Ma & I had arguement. I went up to my room & she & Pa went out riding.

We all went up to carnival. Came home about 9:30. Ma & Pa took Grandpa to Newark in afternoon.

I went up to carnival. Met La Moss & Willa. We took Harold down to Montclair. Ernest went along. Went back to Mesners (?) & Ernest got his car and took me home. Stayed until about 12:45.

Took ride around Verona, Cedar Grove. Opening of Firemen’s Carnival. Did not stop. George saw Uncle Les & Aunt Dora, Vivian & Charles at carnival. They were on their way to Richey’s 50th wedding anniversary.

We all went up to Boonton to see Ball Game. Caldwell won 6 to 4. Shower came up just as we got home. Did not go out after supper.

Worked until 12:45. Went home on 2 o’clock train. Went to Movies with Ma at night. Saw Hanse Peters in Lost & Found. Geo come home for Asbury & came in movies about 8 o’clock. Gladys De Reisthal married.

Celeste up to the house for supper. We took her back to Hospital a little after 9 o’clock. Very cool at night.
