Pressed a few things. Took a bath & went to bed. Ma & Pa took ride around the block.

Pa met me at Klein’s Garage. After supper we went to Suffern. Took watermelon and Marguerite a pail & shovel.

Rather cool at night. Celeste supposed to come down at 7 o’clock. Not at house at 7:10 so we went down to see if we could find her. Did not see anything of her so we went on down to Orange to see if Jerry (Blanch Goldsmith’s husband) had windshields for us. When we got home found note. Celeste had been to house. Charlotte & Doc Tompkins married.

Left Asbury on 7:04 train. Got in office at 9:15. After supper took ride. To bed about 9:30.

Very cool & cloudy in morning. Went in bathing in afternoon. Shower came up. At night walked boardwalk & shower came up. Came back to Warren and packed. To bed about 11:30 – Ma & Pa went to Suffern after supper.

Bathing in morning. Took nap in afternoon. Met Geo at station at 9:30 and then walking boardwalk. Geo down to Asbury to stay for week.

In Bathing Friday morning. Friday afternoon went to see Harry Steinhoff at Wanamasso. Friday night – Had fortune told & went to steeplechase. Had party in our room after steeplechase. President Harding buried. Had day off.

Went down to Asbury to stay until Monday. Left office at 4:30, arrived in Asbury at 6:45. Ruth Jacobus, Willa, La Moss & Lucy Lambert down there. Went to Warrington.

Pa went down to barbers in Bloomfield. Took a little ride & came home. Looked showery all around.
