Pa went down to farm early then came home and Ma, Pa & I went down to see Goldsmith’s. Geo went up street. Went to bed about 10 o’clock. Just stood outside at Goldsmiths.

Very peculiar day. Rained in morning about 11, cleared around 1 and then clouded over as if it would shower around 4, but did not rain. Got black & lighteninged (sic) all around about 9 o’clock. Took ride in afternoon down to Elizabeth, Westfield to Summit to Chatham & then home. Went to Suffern after supper. Left there early as it looked like showers. We kept going toward shower but did not run in to it. Seemed to go around. Geo drove all way to Suffern & back & half way in afternoon. Not a very hot day – picked cherries in morning.

Rained hard in morning. Rather cool, cloudy all day. Pa did not get home till about 8:30. Knitted a while and went to bed.

Beautiful Day. We all s? car in morning. I went to Sunday School. Go Grandma & went to Suffern and from there to Pearl River & Pasaic & home. George drove biggest part of way. Pa took us out up to Morris Plains, Morristown, ?, Livingston & then Grandma home after supper. George went to farm for Pa.

Beautiful Day. Went to dentist at 2:30. Came home and sewed. Ma & I went to movies at night New Chandler came about 8 o’clock. Funeral of Grace Mountenay killed in Automobile accident.

Meeting of Missionary Committee at church. Ray V.D. & Ruth G. & Marjorie Jones, Mr. Mason & myself. Went home and sewed.

M.E.W.’s gave party to Alethea’s and those who helped with banquet. Wented to hold it in woods by Smith’s but it rained. Held in church instead. Had dandy time. George in charge. Pa came up after he came back from farm.

Cool, Beautiful Day. Pa stood talking about Chandler car from 4 to 7 to Agent in front of house. Ordered one. Ma said we did not need a new car. Went over to Mildred’s for a while to sew.

Party at Adeline Schroeders. Also Cafeteria Supper at church with movies after. Went to supper and then came home and dressed for party. George & I went down in Taxi. Showered from 6 to 8. Terrible storm in Brooklyn. Very hot before it rained.
