Holiday. Sewed on my green evening dress all day. Snowed hard all day. Had my hair washed at night. Pa closed at 10 o’clock.

George went to a dance in North Caldwell. I went up with him and sat in barbers while he got his hair cut. He then took me home and went over after Florence. Took her to dance.

Snowed very hard until around 3 o’clock. Only had 3 out to S.S. in my class. Folks took ride around black around 4 o’clock. Went to Suffern at night. Home about 10 o’clock.

Had Valentine’s party for S.S. children. All out. Mama helped me up at Church. Went to movies at night. Mr. Van Duyne taken with heart attack at noon. Beautiful Day.

Got things together for Valentine’s party for S.S. kids. To bed about 10 o’clock. Geo & Florence went to basketball game at Irvington – Caldwell H.S.

Went to basketball game. Team did not show up from Central High Newark that M.E.W.’s were to play. Only saw half of game with Overbrook & Tabernacle Five. Mr. & Mrs. Armstrong down.

Had day off. Mr. Fiske personal friend of Mr. Wilson. Funeral at 3 o’clock. Received services direct from Bethlehem Chapel over W.E.A.J. Stormed all day.

Beautiful Day. Picked Mr. Welton up and took ride to Budd Lake, Schooley’s Mts, Mendham, Morristown & home. Went to all Church services. President Wilson died at 11:15 A.M.
