Went to Montclair & bought tan sport flannel dress at Fashion Center. Mama and I saw Mary Pickford in Rosita at Claridge. I did not go to movies at night. Metropolitan Banquet (unlegible words).

Basketball game. Took Mildred with us. Mama, Papa, George, Florence, Mildred. M.E.W.’s played Montclair YMCA Jrs. M.E.W.’s won. Overbrook team played Bloomfield Elks – Blmfd won. Convention started.

Papa’s birthday. Mama had fresh coconut cake & ice cream for supper. She bought cream. I gave him 2 pr. silk socks, 1 can tobacco, and a tie. Geo gave him tobacco. Mama, cigars, tobacco, wool socks.
