Went to choir rehearsal but only about 5 of us there. Did not rehearse. Went home & went to bed. Ernest was not out to rehearsal. Started blue & silver sweater.

Meeting of Alethea class at the house. Epworth League. ?his meeting at church first. Put me in Secry. again. Elected Pres of Alethea class again. Mrs. Lederer came down to the house & Carl came down after her & Otillie. Good crowd out. Had a fine meeting. Geo entertained girls until Ma & Pa came home from Roseland. Ruth G, Miss Stanley & myself came down from church about 8:40.

Lovely Spring Day. Geo & I went up to church to practice for M.E.W. Entertainment. Roswell, Ernest, Roy V. D., Brad, Carl, Geo & I there. Brad did not stay. When I finished with my part with Carl & Geo, Ernest asked me to stay and see how it went off & what I thought of it. Carl asked to take me home. I said Ernest was going down with me. Ernest & Roswell walked down with me. Miss S told about position in Mr. Rose’s office.

Hailed & snowed early in the morning. Was a chill in the air all day. Showered lightly around 5 o’clock. Ernest came home from Manasquan in time for church service. Decided to go to Institute at Middletown, Conn with Leaguers. First Sunday for Mr Armstrong. Very good crowd out both morning & night. Viola up to Aunt Belle’s. Aunt Grace sitting up. Love’s came up from Plainfield. Mr. Burcker’s wife died sometime during Sun. night.

Carl had party at his house. We had a very nice time. Got home about 12:30. carl got the car out and took Jack Cook, Irene M and myself home. Wore my blue printed dress. Ernest went to Manasquan so could not come to party. Those there were Roy V. D., Adeline, Ottilie, Gus, Irene, Carl, La Moss, Dwight J, Charles Steller, Ruth McNeiel, Jack Cook & myself. (Paulina or Ernest could not come)

Miss Lucille Mayo at church. Mildred C, Elsie M & myself sat together. Roswell, Carl & Ernest sat in back of us. After entertainment we served cake & cream to performers. Ernest & Carl went home after entertainment. I rode down with Kirby’s. Bought my cake in Cushman’s on 33rd Street.
