Rained all day. Stormy – Listened to returns from Cleveland over wireless on nominations for President & Vice Pres. To bed about 11 o’clock.

Went to Suffern from office. Folks went up early & George there when they reached there. Mama & Aunt Aggie went to see Harold Lloyd in Girl Shy.

Saw Miss Green & Prince Viggo married from balcony by Mr Tillotson’s windows at Calvary Church. Pa painted porch at night.

Started for Suffern. Met Uncle Rene, chased one another and then finally went back to our house. They had Mrs Paulson & Hettie with them.

Diary of Llewellyn: June 8, 1924

Children’s Day. Beginners & Primary had exercises in morning. Large classes built a ship at night. I sang in choir at night. Wore my white pleated skirt & silk blouse in morning. Rained in afternoon and night. Wore blue print at night.

Miss Sweeney and I went to see Miss Larson (Mrs Bepler) in Mount Vernon. Left there on 8:01 and came home. Home about 10:30.

Diary of Llewellyn: June 6, 1924

Took afternoon off. Went down to Wanamakers. Bought blouse at Lerners. Went home on 1:48 and practiced for Children’s Day. Papa came home at 11:30 & was home all afternoon. Went back about 5:30. Took ride up around Butler, got lost in woods.
